In life we go around kissing so many frogs in hope to find our prince charming. 

There is always that one boyfriend or girlfriend that we think we messed up our chances with them. Every time when I think of this person my heart skips a beat, and tend to get the ‘first date jitters once again. What’s more tormenting to this experience, is having that particular person living in the same area as me. Every time we bump into each the spark arises, but that’s all there is to it. I’ve learnt to live with my pain as the one who got away is now a billion miles away from me, let history rest.

One evening walking down the street, no worries, just my normal self; happy, joyful, on cloud nine. I have heard the best news of my life. I’m on my way to celebrate my successes with my friends; possibly the best career venture, a successful business, and man of your dreams, everything that I have longed for. The celebration goes well, back home, and safe in my bedroom it is a peaceful evening. In the morning, I embark on my new journey, living the life I have always envisioned.

In the world of sanity, where one’s thoughts and habits collides with the social norms.

Where individuality is seen as loneliness

Where difference is seen as insanity.

In a world of sanity, where everything is of likeness, yet everybody preaches the word of uniqueness.

In the world of sanity where members of society clone one another to create a trend of standing out.

Where conformity is seen as the appropriate social behavior.

Where walking, talking and dressing the same is still considered as being unique.

Where the importance of falling under same social group is applaud and given credit for social conformity and blending in.

Being in the hype, the now, the recent; social pleasure brings joy to the group of the “so-called” uniqueness.

Bringing personality into the plate and aint coping nobody’s trend, style but creating your own personal style.

I was introduced to the world of the unknown. Like a baby’s umbilical cord cut off, that connection to its mother, the bond being tempered with. However, it knowing very well that the security blanket hasn’t left it but only building a stronger bond. Introduced to the world of the unknown, where security is tempered with, relying on what is not known, and having to fend for yourself not knowing what’s to come. Being introduced to the world of the unknown, like the thick cloud of fog in the morning, having to adjust your eyes, altering your neurons into believing that you can see beyond its thickness.
