Five Words. One Sentence. One Heart
It’s
quite ironic when someone tells you that, they know how you feel. The pain that I feel cannot be compared to
any other pain anybody else has ever felt within them. The pain that I feel
cannot be measured to the pain of some else. So how can one say I know how you feel?
My pain and your pain cannot be simply be measured nor be compared, or be categorized
into one folder of feelings. So how do you know, how I feel. My pain to me is a
catastrophe, yet you still know how I feel.
These
words tend to come out with such ease that we barely take a second to think of
the person we express our compassion to. I know how you feel, are words, which
make us, seem so caring and sympathetic, these words put a facade to society to
see this so much compassionate part of ourselves.
These
words are so deep yet said in such a vague manner. These words are so deep, yet
said with so much carelessness. Not realising the sting and coldness it’s being
received. These words are so much deep that they bring some sort of humbleness
in everyone’s voice. They bring this sweet aroma, which brings a false belief
of all is well. These words are so deep that we get lost in them, and we tend
to misuse them for every situation. These words are so deep that the soothing
pain, the danger in one’s heart, seems to be all cotton candy. These words are
so deep that we forget the true heart felt feeling. These words are so deep
that we misread the tears in our receivers’ eyes. These words are so deep that
we feel satisfied for every smirk, which we take for ease. These words are so deep that we forget the
true meaning of the words. I know how you feel, are words, which are uttered in
every situation.
I know
how you feel are words we tend to use in vein. Are words we flaunt at our
enemies face, are words splash at every site of man-while twisting the dagger
in the next eyes.
These
words are words used to wipe the floor with our friends’ tears. These words are
used to paint the highway billboards, as we splatter ones business to the street.
These words are used as we marinate your pain, while we utter to your
rivalries. These words are used as we apply the make-up of truthfulness,
honesty, integrity and friendship. These words are used as we talk the talk of compassion,
to flaunt our existence. These words are used as we stride, with our heads held
high as though; we are God sent to the weary. These words are used in the most
truthful impolite manner.
These
words, I know how you feel.
