Saved by HIS Grace
Written by: Puleng Mokgosi
Purity In Christ
I once was lost in the wisdom of the world
Which is a world on its own filled with thorny chains
Though you fall and they drag you up,they will drag you down again in no time
Kept on fastening its purity garment which only covers the body but does not renew the soul.
As I kept on tightening the belt,it begin to tear apart and the garment grew so loose that it no longer fit
Just like the curtain of the temple that got torn apart so that all may enter without fear or doubt
By a saviour who offered Himself as an atonement for our sins,
A High priest who who bears with all our weaknesses.
Then the garment fell off and I got washed by the Blood that speaks better things
Which cleans us from the inside out
Leaves us blameless, changes and renews us
He has granted us a place in the Heavenlies and it settles it.
I am now confident to stand with boldness and a sound mind
Having purity that is found not in the blood of calves and bulls, nor in the deeds of self righteousness
But purity found in Christ and in Him alone.

The joy to serve Him
Written by: Puleng Mokgosi
ALL IN ONE
There's just so much power vested in one person, in one Man, in one life, one heart, one Spirit and one's Blood which speaks better things than that of any other.
With such a great hope found in Him, an anchor for our souls that can never be shaken, one that will never be changed or taken away from us.
So much authority given to Him that all other authorities have to submit under Him who bears the name that breaks all chains, heals the sick, gives the blind sight, raises the dead and leads many to repentance.
What a wonderful gift of eternal life found in Him, who would have not asked for such? A gift that guarantees us righteousness, purity and a great inheritance.
There is so much power in Him that whoever who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, Yes... Jesus Christ the Radiance of God's glory!

Dream Big beyond what you can imagine
Reasons why you should quit
I've always said if you're not happy with what you are doing just quit. You can't be waking up each morning cursing at what you're doing, cursing the day you accepted it. You can't be bound by obligations of; “I need a job”, “I have to do it”, “I can’t be unemployed”. You can't let the glam life cloud your judgment on what's right for you.
Looking forward to be at work or looking forward to the day, is the most important thing. When you wake up each morning happy knowing that your day is perfect. That even when its knock off, you’re so caught up in what you’re doing that the thought of going home kills you but the drive that each day is more epic than the previous is the ultimate joy.

A Shared Story
My heart bleeds
A year ago I saw my world coming to an end, the discovery of a life changing event. A year ago my world was shattered as reality seemed to be unreal. I wanted to be woken up from the long slumber I’ve been through. I wanted somebody to come up to me and say, just kidding, this is not what it is. Everything seemed to be a distant reality, everything was gloomy, and emotionless event.

It's time to let go
So I was alone
The mind knows what the heart refuses to believe. It has been there and has already experienced all the disappointments and joys. It has already shared all life experiences. Its been there, done that, and ready to move on.Friday, 6 November 2015
The journey of the connector.
The Story of a cable
If each cable had a story to tell what would yours say.
I’m the connector of life, I bring forth the power that keeps my user connected. If it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t be in touch with society so yeah I am a connector.

The Race called Purpose!
The Race
By: Puleng Mokgosi
Sometimes
we think we know who we are and where we are going. We grow up knowing what
society says about us and we let what they say determine the intensity of our
vision. We get so used to human approval such that we even expect it to
validate our worth. We end up going or doing what we think that it’s right
according to society and end up not following our hearts. We suppress our
dreams to suite our circumstances, turn a blind eye to our visions, a deaf ear
to our calling. We press on and continue toiling in order for us to fulfill the
society painted vision. One that involves no passion, no peace, no joy, no rest
but debts, cheating to go up, strife, bitterness, pride etc...

Emotional Scars
EMOTIONAL SCARS
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.As I gaze through space, through my watery eyes I wonder what has become. I see the stars formed by the light through the water curtain in front of me. I smile for I know all is well. The lie I tell myself that all is well, knowing very well that I'm standing on broken glasses. My inner self has been shattered; it's been bruised beyond repair, but I keep telling myself that all is well. I'm hopeful that one day I shall find a bandage that will sooth my pain. I'm hopeful that one day a hand shall come and wipe my tears away. One day, only one day this might happen.

Dear Spotlight
Dear Spotlight
I have
always thought life was about blending in. Not be seen, or heard, not known or recognised.
I knew that I was Unique, I was an individual.
Through
the years of blending in and never be seen or heard was the glorious times of
my life. I would be more involved in group activities but always found a way of
diverting the spotlight away from me. I was always the leader but never showed
my leadership skills. I was always the one who came up with ideas, ways to
implement things and see the final product, but when credit was given for the
good work we have done I would hide myself and blend in with the non-contributors
and always direct praises to those who are extroverts. I have always associated
myself with extroverts; because that was one way I could always remain in the
background, the “shy” one.

Phenomenal world of friendship
Friendship
Word on the street says that you are kind; you are the most selfless person in town.
There are some questions in life which don’t have one answer. There’s never a right answer but what each person feels is true and right to them. Question of love have puzzled many, and even today no one answer is correct but what each individual feels is the right thing. The question of religion on the hand is as mysterious as the other billion elements in society. Who you worship and where you worship is the matter of choice and no one religion is correct as compared to the next. This is all a matter of perception how you relate to society and your contributions towards it, make it right for you and gives you that tingling sensation inside you.

Good Morning World
Good morning world, today’s a new day.
I need to get out of bed and thank my
God for yet another day. I need to tell him how grateful I am for this day that
I’m able to breathe the same air as my brothers and sisters. I need to sit
down, take a look at the word, and remind myself of His goodness. I need to
walk to the bathroom and do my morning duties so I will be fresh and look
representable for you.

Make unique Cool
A Lonely life
We live in the world where one is constantly in need for approval from their peers or their social structure.
We are faced with the judgmental eye on a daily basis, where one has to ask; how do I look? Does my dress code fit into the societal norms, is it trendy enough to get the stamp of approval. When I rock my red sneakers, yellow t-shirt, pink socks, green shorts and colourful hair accessories, does this look fit in the so-called normal society. Does it fit in within the cool factor, or am I simply labelled as a weirdo for I am wearing what everyone else isn’t. I’m given names such as a walking rainbow, my peer’s even question if I have escaped from a mental institution because I am not conforming to the standard “it” look; which everyone is so appeased by.

Enjoying the Days of your Youth
Ecclesiastes 12:1; “1 Futhi khumbula
uMdali wakho emihleni yobusha bakho, zingakafiki izinsuku ezimbi, ingakasondeli
iminyaka osho ngayo ukuthi: 'Angithokozi ngayo,' ”
It is a great blessing and joy to know
the Lord in the days of your youth for this grooms one into a God fearing Woman
and Man for the future.
We live in a society where we’re told
that we are supposed to enjoy the days of our youth. Be young, wild and free,
care-free of the consequences that might follow because you’re only young once.
We are given the platform to explore our wilderness, and be like untamed cats
in the jungle ready to hunt. It is rare that we are told the repercussion of
our actions. We are barely told the end results of this young life we’re supposed
to live to the fullest.

Delayed
Delays
Delays are
needed in our lives. This is not entirely a train smash, or the end of the
world. One does need to be delayed in order to reaffirm their route, this
brings forth focus and it reassures you that you are on the right the path.
You are off to
an interview, everything is well planned, outfit- perfectly prepared the night
before, you do a company background check, you research the position at hand. You
familiarise yourself with the transport system on how to get there, rehearse
for the interview, you are on top of your game. In the morning, you leave the
house an hour early allowing yourself enough time to breathe, but on the road,
you are delayed. The taxi’s become a nightmare, or not even that drastic but
simply everything just moves slow. You become late for the interview, either
way you’re still interviewed, the interviewer is polite and pleased to meet
you. Being late has devastated you, to a point that you thought it is the end
of the world, you get home cry about it because all seem to have gone down
south.

If pictures could talk
Through the lens of my camera
Through the lens of my camera, I can see your smile, the hidden tear on your cheek.
The emotion of that time is nicely captured, as the focus sharpens to what the eye doesn't see.
Through the lens of my camera, I can see your movement, a story to be told in time.
Through the lens of my camera, I can see your vulnerability, the fear of losing touch.
Through the lens of my camera, I can see your concern, the inevitable, and the fear of the unknown. As every moment is captured, my lens shall tell a deeper story of what is, and what was.

A story to be told-Just For Control
Just For Control
The mind knows what the heart refuses to believe. It sees beyond the visual data given by the eye.
Being caught in a small room, with people of different personalities yet they are perceived as the same because of their gender, dress code and societal background. Life is mysterious and this brings thrill and fascination of what may lie ahead. The thought of not knowing breeds the adventure and triggers your dopamine. That leap of faith, bungee jumping, dangling from a tower/ mountain without the 100% assurance that the bungee rope will support your weight. Rafting, going through the various water current, hitting each and every rock along the way without the knowledge that you will get out there alive. Same as going to a new place without knowing anybody, but the trust that you have in whichever high power you believe in sets your mind at ease. Falling in love has also been proven to be a dangerous and risky act that one may take, not fully knowing the person you fall for, what they are hiding behind closed doors, their real personas and not the person they introduce in the street.

What has happened to my Land
I was born in a land of richness, where the world believes that its valleys are evergreen; the stream runs through my yard and the world’s wild giants run freely in my back yard. I was born in a land of richness, where all the mineral of the world are found, from your gold to your diamond and platinum. We have one of the largest oil plants in my land. I was born in a land where the world believes we are one- we are the same. I was born in a land where anthropologists believe humanity started there. I was born in a land of pseudo-unity created by the outside.
Muntu Omuhle:Words of Admiration
Ngivumele muntu omuhle
Your beauty shines through the eyes of the blind, that it make him
exclaim in awe, shocked by your beauty that restores his sight.
Your beauty turns a drunkard into a pastor, as he praises your maker,
abonge ubuhle bakho for buya mangaza.
Your beauty is so eccentric that not even words can describe it.
Your beauty exhumes the magnificent of mankind, the womanhood who stand
strong and defeats all strongholds.
Your beauty turns a player into a husband material, for ufuna
uk'protector his queen
Your beauty steals the heart of a thief that he sentences himself into
a love slave, for eternity.
Your beauty has converted a rebel into a saint, for he has stumbled
across the fine marbles of womankind.

The time is now.
The Last Hour
When the clock strikes noon we know that morning has passed, what was missed at 11:59 can never be recovered at 12:59 for the time has passed a new hour arises. The sun shifts accordingly making room for the moon which shall rise later on.
